Dr. Steven Chow is a senior consultant dermatologist at the Pantai and Gleneagles Hospitals in Kuala Lumpur and also visiting consultant to the Alpha Specialist Clinic in Sunway Damansara.
He is the founding Secretary-General of the Asian Academy of Dermatology & Venereology and serves on the International Advisory Editorial Board of the British Journal of Dermatology and the Indian Journal of Dermatology. He actively promotes and develop local and regional training and teaching in clinical dermatology. As the President of the Federation of Private Medical Practitioners Associations of Malaysia (FPMPAM), he advocates for patients’ rights and good clinical governance in medical practice.
In 2001, he founded and continues to lead a Malaysian medical - based NGO, "DrsWhoCare" which has been credited with successfully treating more than twenty four thousand patients with opioid addiction.

Dr. Lim read medicine at the Queen's University, Belfast. He obtained the membership of Royal College of Physicians(UK) in 1992 and thereafter served as consultant physician at the Sarawak General Hospital.He then specialized in dermatology at the Ipoh General Hospital and was gazetted as consultant dermatologist before joining the KL Skin Centre in 1998.
He is a member of the Dermatological Society of Malaysia and is registered in the National Specialist Register, Malaysia.
He was awarded the Fellow of the Asian Academy of Dermatology and Venereology in 2010 in recognition of his role in dermatology teaching for general practitioners and scientific presentations in national as well as regional meetings.
His practice interest is mainly in clinical dermatology for both out and in-patients of the Skin Centre. |
